Following are some of the many services provided
at Tumwater Family Practice Clinic:
Tumwater Family Practice Laboratory provides a wide range of on-site
laboratory services. We believe that running our own lab results in better quality care, convenience and cost efficiency for our patients.
If you require lab services that TFPC Lab cannot provide, we have partnered with Quest Diagnostics to perform those more specialized tests. Quest Diagnostics also provides lab services here at our facility on both Saturday and Sunday.
South Sound Radiology provides on-site X-Ray services
and accepts a number of insurance plans so you do not have to make an extra trip
to receive care.
Telephone Calls and Rx Refills
Our trained staff will gladly answer your health,
billing and other related questions. If you need to speak to your provider or
nurse, or have an urgent problem, please inform the receptionist. Urgent calls
will be connected immediately or returned as soon as possible. All other calls
will be returned as your provider's or nurse's schedule allows.
We have voice mail so that you
can leave a detailed message if the person you are trying to reach is
unavailable. When we return to our stations we are immediately notified of
waiting messages, and will return your call as soon as possible.
In most instances, we believe it
is not in your best interest for us to prescribe medicines by phone. If you have
not seen your provider for a year, you must do so to have a prescription
refilled. Always contact your pharmacy for refills rather than calling the
clinic. If needed, the pharmacy will contact us and the request will be
processed within 48 hours. Please do not call the clinic before that time as the
refill is in process.
To help keep the cost of treatment down, we ask that
you pay for your visit at the time of service. Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, and the Discover
Card are welcome. If you have a large bill or financial difficulties, our
billing staff will assist you in making special arrangements.
If you have insurance, please be
prepared to present your insurance identification card, billing information and
pay your deductible or co-pay amounts at the time of service.
We will gladly bill any of the
plans listed below for you. However, some plans may not be open to our new
patients. Please call for details. If your plan is not listed below or if you
have problems or questions about insurance matters, call us and we will try to
help you in any way that we can.
We bill secondary insurances for
our patients. If you have a secondary, please let the receptionist know at the
time you check in and provide your insurance card.
